OUR STORY
Trauma is the leading global cause of death for children and adults less than 44, and hypothermia doubles the mortality of trauma patients. In the US alone, effectively treating prehospital hypothermia could prevent 41,503 adult and pediatric trauma deaths per year. Having all suffered various injuries, we know the terror of being injured and having a loved one involved in a traumatic accident. We are determined to decrease the mortality of trauma so that more people can survive traumatic accidents and return to their loved ones.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
Adhesive Heating Pads
We are developing a set-it and forget-it adhesive heating technology for EMS personnel, Fire personnel, trauma nurses, and trauma doctors to place on trauma patients in the ambulance or in the Emergency Department to provide heat directly to the patients.
